With train tickets and hotel booked, it's off to Bristol tomorrow. With fresh enthusiasm from Saturday's win maybe we can be a little more optimistic. Not too optimistic though!
The convoluted arrangements have been made - see earlier post. Following this game I'll be sorting out details for the Preston game. I fly out to Canada on Sunday and get back to Heathrow at 7.00am on the day of the Preston game. Theoretically it's all possible, but right now I'm not sure how I'll be getting up for the game. Still, plenty of time to sort that out after Bristol. The main challenge right now is to find the route from the ground back to te station to catch the last train back to London.

Onwards and upwards
Another season begins, but this one offers the prospect of winning something. If we get promoted this season we'll face another season of struggle next term. 40 points will be the aim. But for now let's enjoy this season. Let's enjoy winning a few games, a bit of success.
Robin Rance has been a loyal supporter - home and away - for many years. It's always been an ambition to go to every game in a season, and this year is it. Robin is booking days off and calling in favours to get to every game this season. Even though he doesn't drive!
To add to the challenge, Robin has met a girl studying in Sheffield. He has to manage that relationship as well. Problem is, she's gone back to Canada to finish her studies. And Robin has promised to go and see her in Canada during the season.
